He's also near the quartermaster for Darnassus as well so while you're getting the Gilneas tabard might as well go over to the other quartermaster as well and pick up that tabard.

That should bump you from revered to exalted. Comment by Zenzara Just so you know, I put in a ticket regarding the tabard not working in certain dungeons and this is the response I got from the GM. It seems that they do not work in dungeons that already give faction specific reputation gains. They city tabards won't work in the Burning Crusade dungeons and won't work in the early Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.
The tabard will start working again once you start doing the level 80 wrath of the lich king dungeons. Comment by Khayos I'm trying to build my Gilnean Rep up for my garrison guards. So far, I found that editing as I go : Heroic MoP dungeons give 20 rep per trash mob except for a few which give rep each , and rep per boss Taran Zhu for some reason didn't give any rep upon defeating him. I'm soloing it for the Anubisath Idol battle pet that drops from one of the bosses. As it didn't drop for me, I'll try again in a week; as it's a raid, not a dungeon. Comment by Rharsia Carefull pet owners. I learned the hard way why most of the mobs didn't give me reputation. Mobs your pet kills, without you tagging give no reputation.
