Cost of drinks was approx. B each for spirits which is expensive however was a happy hour until 1am where you were given two drinks for cost of one.

OK price until happy hour ended and then drinks became expensive. There are two rooms, one smoking and one non smoking, so I was told when I enquired with staff. Both rooms are spacious and took time to fill. On the second visit which was a Sunday night, again place didn't have many patrons until after 11pm and most appeared to be hotel guests and some female locals.

Again prices were the same as the Friday night but no happy hour so drinks again were expensive. Left after a while to Climax nightclub which was much better. Mixx nightclub doesn't have live music, but a DJ. Perhaps I just attended on slow nights, to be fair to the place. If I go with my white friends I have no problem walking right through.

These are people that work for embassy's located in Bangkok as well as fortune companies that are here on business. I have been embarrassed by the racist door people too many times at this club. I will go spend my money somewhere else. Mixx is the place.. For indians though dont try on weekends..

I came to Edinburgh for a birthday weekend with friends and having read about why not online we decided to go. There was absolutely no room on the dance floor what so ever or in any of the surrounding table and bar areas. We were getting pushed around all over the place and at one point my friend fell and was stood on.

The doormen appeared to have no control or awareness of the situation inside as more and more people kept piling in.

We left no more than 15 minutes after arriving and when we asked to speak to someone for a refund they informed us that the club had not yet reached maximum capacity. I think they need to review the capacity of the club as the situation inside did not feel safe. Total waste of money and time, worst club ever. You stuck to the bar, you stuck to the floor and it was like human skittles on the dance floor.

It would have been more appropriate to have a game of footie given how many black plastic? To it's credit the music was good and we had a good laugh whilst there but I would carry on walking next time.

We came here on the first night of our weekend away. Brilliant prices, music types for everyone and a big place to roam around.

The one recommendation I would make would be to get heaters out in the smoking area as it was extremely cold. I went in why not nightclub in january with 2 friends, the place was empty during the week but nice music and cocktails.

Went to Why Not for a night out- as a student its always a risk since its usually a tenner to get in. Paid the entrance fee and bought a couple of drinks, also used the cloakroom. I went to the bathroom and went on the dancefloor and realised my phone had gone. I told the security and only one person listened and helped, the other staff ignored me and mocked me for being so panicked. I was flying home 2 days after and was anxious about not having my phone for the flight.

The staff in Why Not are rude and obnoxious and ill never be going there again. Will definitely be coming again both with a table booking and without. Skip to main content.
